Register Your Security System with Your County

What is the False Alarm Reduction Unit (FARU)?

Alarm legislation was developed to reduce the number of false alarm activations and keep officers ready and available to handle more calls for service. Please note not all counties have a False Alarm Reduction Unit or require registration. Please call your local police department for additional information.

Registering with Your City/County

Every county has individual laws and regulations when it comes to false alarms. As a customer courtesy, we register your account on your behalf by sending your county registrations and fees to your prospective jurisdictions. However, we recommend that all customers familiarize themselves with their county registrations. Be on the lookout for anything that comes to your mail/email in regards to your county.

If you have any questions about your registration, please contact your local police department to check the status of your registration.
